What are the commonly used categories of flame retardant fabrics? Elastic fabrics, nylon fabrics, acrylic fabrics, CVC fabrics, aramid fabrics, cotton fabrics, etc. 

Stretch fabric: As the name suggests, stretch fabric is a fabric with good elasticity, because high-elastic clothing allows people to better maintain body coordination when exercising or participating in outdoor activities. Therefore, this type of fabric is generally used for sportswear or outdoor activity clothing. The demand is huge. The main representatives of elastic fabrics are DuPont Lycra, nylon and polyester. 

Here are some common stretch fabrics and their characteristics:

DuPont Lycra: It is atype of man-made elastic fiber and one of the most elastic fabrics. It can even stretch the fabric to4to6times its original size. Because of its good elasticity, the fabric is more wrinkle-resistant.

Nylon fabric: Nylon is also called nylon in China. It is an earlier synthetic fiber. It may not be as strong as Lycra, but the elasticity of the fabric is still quite good, and the fabric has good wear resistance. It is better than Lycra. Cotton fabrics are10times more wear-resistant.

Polyester fabric: The elasticity of polyester is not as good as the two mentioned above. The elasticity is similar to that of wool, but polyester is extremely resistant to wear and corrosion. Polyester fabrics are used in many sportswear and casual wear. Plaid high-elastic linen: The fabric is made of a blend of polyester, cotton and spandex. It has a beautiful appearance and is very elastic. It is suitable for use as a fabric for casual pants, jackets and other clothing.

Fine-lattice elastic fabric: This type of elastic fabric is very simple to care for and affordable. In addition to being used for sportswear, it is also widely used in fashion and skirts.

Multifunctional fabric: Multifunctional fabric refers to changing the properties of the fabric, adding functional materials, and adding various additives during the production process or post-finishing, so that the fabric itself has special functions and super performance that ordinary clothing fabrics do not have.

1. Moisture wicking fabric It mainly uses physical methods to spin several special-shaped fibers such as cross-shaped, Y-shaped, T-shaped and honeycomb. There are a varying number of micro-grooves on the surface. With the help of the wicking and moisture-conducting structure of the grooves, moisture is instantly discharged from the body., widely used in sportswear, outdoor travel, casual wear, underwear, shirts and other fields.

2.Antibacterial fabric Change the traditional simple process of adding antibacterial agents to fabrics, melt the antibacterial silver ion material into the spinning melt, and then spin it into new functional silver ion fibers that are antibacterial, sterilizing, and antibacterial. The rate is99%.

3.Flame retardant fabric The flame retardant is polymerized, blended, copolymerized, and compounded into fibers to make the fiber permanently flame retardant. The main ones include: aramid, flame retardant acrylic, flame retardant viscose, flame retardant polyester, smoldering vinylon, etc.. Widely used in the military, firefighting, petroleum, electric power, natural gas, chemical industry, aviation, shipping and other industries, while making general clothing, especially children's clothing, pajamas, carpets, bedding, etc.

4.Cotton brocade fabric Various fabrics woven from cotton fiber and nylon fiber blended yarns are widely used in military uniforms and workwear based on the wear-resistant and elastic recovery properties of nylon.

5.Antistatic fabric Fabrics woven with yarn mixed with conductive fibers or embedded with conductive filaments. The antistatic raw materials currently used by our company mainly include: organic conductive filaments, short fibers and stainless steel fibers. According to the different uses of clothing, different raw materials and ratios are selected. It has passed the testing of international GB12014-2009and European standard EN1149-1.6. Composite functional fabric Two or more new functions are combined on the same fabric through special raw material ratios and processes. In response to the multiple requirements for workwear in industries such as coal mines, petroleum, chemicals, military, and fire protection, it not only has anti-static functions, but also In addition, we have to have antibacterial and flame retardant properties. We have developed products that have multiple functions such as antistatic, moisture wicking, antibacterial and flame retardant, etc., which meet the needs of many mainstream customers at home and abroad. There is extremely huge room for future development.

Aramid cloth: Stability.The most important characteristic of aramid is its long-term thermal stability. It can be used continuously for a long time at high temperatures from204°C to240°C, and its dimensional stability is excellent. The thermal shrinkage rate at around250°C is only1%., it will not shrink, embrittle or melt even after being exposed to a high temperature of300℃for a short period of time. It will only decompose above370℃. It will start to carbonize at around400℃, only releasing trace amounts of gas, and its toxicity is almost zero.

Flame retardancy. The limiting oxygen index of meta-aramid fiber is28-32%. It is difficult to burn in a flame. It extinguishes immediately after leaving the flame and will not produce melt droplets. It can quickly carbonize when encountering a sudden high temperature of900℃-1500℃, forming a unique thermal insulation protective layer, which can buy some valuable escape time for escapees, and the protective effect is excellent.

Chemical stability. resistant to corrosion by most highly concentrated inorganic acids, bleaches, reducing agents, organic solvents and other chemicals. Aramid fiber's excellent high temperature resistance and stability have been paid more and more attention to Acrylic fabric: The scientific name of acrylic fiber is polyacrylonitrile fiber. The properties of the fiber are very similar to wool, so it isalso called "artificial wool". According to the requirements of different uses, it can be spun purely or blended with natural fibers. Its textiles are widely used in clothing, decoration, industry and other fields. 

Advantages of acrylic fiber: 1. High fluffiness The elasticity and bulkiness of acrylic fiber are similar to natural wool. It has good elasticity and can maintain a rebound rate of65%when stretched by20%. It is fluffy, curly and soft, and is known as artificial wool.

2. Good warmth retention Acrylic fiber has good thermal elasticity(can process bulked yarn), acrylic fiber density is small, smaller than wool, and the fabric has good warmth retention, 15%higher than wool.

3. Easy to dye and light fast Acrylic fabrics are brightly dyed and have excellent light fastness. According to the ranking of various fiber fabrics, their strength only decreases by20%after being exposed to the sun for one year. They are suitable for outdoor clothing, swimwear, and children's clothing. Curtains, curtains, tarpaulins, gun jackets, etc.

4. Stable and lightweight Acrylic fiber has better dimensional stability and better heat resistance, ranking second among synthetic fibers. At the same time, it is also resistant to acids, oxidants and organic solvents. Acrylic fabric is a lighter fabric among synthetic fiber fabrics, second only to polypropylene, so it is a good lightweight clothing material, such as mountaineering clothing, winter warm clothing, etc.
